The quaint town of Traverse City is set at the base of Grand Traverse Bay and is an ideal place to get married. Its charming downtown is loved by couple and wedding guests alike. It is easy to keep all your guest happy, get great photos and create a wedding weekend that everyone will remember for years to come. If you are still in search of a venue we have a few favorites located in the downtown Traverse City area. The Hagerty Center is located right on the bay and has a glass wall to showcase a great view of the water. Their ‘Old Mission Chicken’ is mouthwatering! For smaller weddings, the Corner Loft is a hip space located in the center of downtown on Front Street. Its location makes it great for guests to explore the main drag during the intermission between the wedding ceremony and reception. Other hotels with venue spaces include The Park Place Hotel, Hotel Indigo, and Holiday Inn West Bay Beach.
Weddings on Old Mission
Old Mission Peninsula is a narrow beautiful strip of land nestled in the heart of Traverse City’s wine country. It offers some of the most breathtaking views of both East and West Grand Traverse Bay. The rolling hills, covered in grapevines and cherry trees, make it a perfect spot for taking wedding photos. One of our favorite venues on Old Mission is The Peninsula Room. Their manicured front lawn is a great ceremony spot that looks out over the water.

The Cathedral Barn is a beautifully restored wedding barn that has the twinkly dreamy atmosphere you love and all modern conveniences that your guests will appreciate like indoor plumbing and air conditioning.
